For some unique implementations, it can be backed up with a self-adhesive layer. It is also the perfect and outstanding fabric for welding blankets, curtain fire protection, expansion joints, non-metalliccompensator, and anti-corrosion industry.
The PTFE fabric with single side coated has countless performance-enhancing features. PTFE glass fabric provides a very small friction coefficient, elevated thermal resistance, hydrophobic characteristics, and outstanding dielectric properties.
For some conditions where the requirement is not that strict, the PTFE fabric with single side coated is usually used to replace the PTFE adhesive tapes, because the former is more attractive in terms of the financial cost.
PTFE fiberglass fabric is dimensionally stable at -100° to 500°F (-73° to 260°C), non-toxic, odorless, tasteless, and FDA (21 CFR 177.1550) compliant for food processing, packaging, and handling. PTFE fiberglass fabric is made from PTFE-coated, non-woven PTFE fiberglass fabric with excellent durability and very low elongation (<1%).
Its PTFE coating provides PTFE fiberglass fabric with many performance-enhancing properties. PTFE fabric has a very low coefficient of friction, high heat resistance, hydrophobicity, and excellent dielectric properties. It is also chemically inert. These qualities make PTFE fiberglass fabric ideal for a wide range of applications.
